Our charism is expressed in diverse ministries. What ignites us can be found in any of our works simply by living the love of God because we see mission as a participation in the sending of Christ into the world: “As the Father has sent me, so I send you.” (Jn.20:21) and also “Go out to the whole world; proclaim the Gospel to all creation” (Mark 16:15).
In the light of being sent, we believe that there are no places or peoples to whom we would not be ready to bring the saving love of Christ. We offer our faithful and joyful service to the needs of humanity, especially where the need is greatest. Educating, equipping, empowering are three imperatives through which we live Mary Ward’s Just Soul.
Our members and companions respond to the needs of today in diverse ministries since we are formed to be mobile and attuned to the spirit of God and the needs of our time.
We strive, like Mary Ward, to have that inner freedom to respond to the call to leave all and follow Christ with passion and compassion.
