A two-week training course was conducted by Jagori Rural and Jagori Sangat on “Gender, Sustainable Development and Women’s Empowerment” with various other participant organizations. The training focused on Self Development, the patriarchal system, feminism, women’s studies, multiple sexualities & bodily rights, mental & emotional health, violence and
discrimination, and gender studies with class and caste. The training was very fruitful and exciting with many activities, group work, debates & discussions, demonstrations, question & answer rounds. It helped the members grow as an individual along with getting a vast knowledge on the said topic. The practical illustrations in the training have helped to understand better and in a more interesting way.
