Wanawake kwa Wanawake Organization (WkW): Women for Women
Kibera slums is one of the biggest slums in Africa, very densely populated. This means: many people against the available resources. This is the situation many children in Kibera find themselves: little or no space for living, playing, studying or rest not to mention the other challenges of basic living like food, water, and sanitation. Wanawake kwa Wanawake organization is a blessing to many of these children, because they can access education which the organization believes it can change their lives and that of their families. The story of WkW is a story of hope, and a story of love as Sr. Leonida Kwamboka the director puts it: the love for the children drives them to do more.
