The Environmental Lent Calendar is a tool of facts and actions to help us engage in thoughtful discussion about our relationship with God’s creation and our obligations to each other during the 2021 Lent.
For each of the 40 days of Lent, there is a recommended action to help us learn more or to do something to respond to the challenge to care for our common home. As Caretakers of our ‘common home’ perhaps you might reflect on all of the activities that you perform during Lent, and how they can bring you into greater harmony with the earth and with all life. Conclude your Lenten Creation care practice by making a personal pledge to serve God and serve others by pursuing a more sustainable way of life.
