An economy without human trafficking.

On February 5th we have organised an online prayer service to commemorate St. Bakhita, and to join our efforts with the efforts of many organizations within the church and society that work for the elimination of Human Trafficking, which is the modern-day slavery. The theme of this year was ‘Economy without Human Trafficking’.

Many victims of HT are drivers of the economy in many countries, often within very enslaving terms. Together, we the Mary Ward Family, our friends and collaborators celebrated St. Josephine Bakhita, a great woman of our times, but we also celebrated resilience and hope for all victims of Human Trafficking.
